8 Ways to Lower Your Embroidery Cost

1. Shrink the size of your design.

The size of the design affects your overall cost. Embroidery is priced per 1000 stitches. A small design on the front of a corporate polo will be much cheaper than large embroidered area on the back of a jacket.

2. Avoid fills and outlines.

Remember more stitches will equal a higher cost. Fills and outlines are a sure way to drive up your bill.

3. Limit the number of embroidery locations.

Did you know that a two sided shirt can cost almost double the price of a one sided shirt? Consider just embroidering on the front to saving money.

4. Order in large quantities.

A large order will cost you less per item.

5. Buy 10% more shirts than you think you'll need.

It's better to overestimate. Under ordering will cost you more in the long run.

6. Choose light colored shirts.

Just like with screen printing white shirts cost the least, followed by light colors shirts and finally darks are the most expensive.

7. Find a picture of what you like and ask us how to reduce the cost.

If you find a complex design you like, don't worry. We can find ways to recreate it at a better price.

8. Don't wait until the last minute.

Allow for plenty of time when you order. If you need shirts in a hurry, rush charges may apply.
